Privacy policy
Last updated: June 2026.
The Potting Notes is a small personal blog, and it's built to respect your privacy. The short version: we don't track you.
What we don't do
No advertising, no analytics (no Google Analytics or tag managers), no tracking pixels, and no third-party cookies. We don't profile visitors and we have nothing to sell — because we don't collect the data in the first place.
What is collected
As with any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) keeps standard server logs — request details such as IP address, browser type, and the page requested — for security and reliability. We don't use these to identify individuals, and they're governed by our host's own privacy terms.
If you email us
When you write to us we receive your email address and your message, and we use them only to reply and act on your note. We won't add you to a mailing list, and you can ask us to delete your message any time.
External links
Guides occasionally link to other sites for reference. Once you leave The Potting Notes, those sites have their own privacy policies, which we don't control.
Changes
If this policy changes we'll update the date above. Questions? Contact us.
